What is GIVS?

• GIVS stands for Graduates in Vision Science and is the graduate student organisation at the School of Optometry, at the University of Waterloo.
• It is officially sanctioned by the Graduate Student Association (GSA) of the University of Waterloo.  
• GIVS provides services and information to its members, promotes social interaction and participates in policy development which relate to our graduate students.  
• All full-time, part-time, and joint-program graduate students at the School of Optometry are members of GIVS.
