Binocular Vision and Aniseikonia Clinic
In this area of the clinic, eye co-ordination and eye movements are
assessed. Special attention is paid to lazy eyes (amblyopia) as a
result of an eye turn (strabismus) or unequal amounts of
far-sightedness/near-sightedness, to eye movements during reading
and to the manner in which the two eyes work together as a pair.
Specially-designed spectacles or vision exercises may be used to
improve visual efficiency during vocational and avocational performance.
Referrals are made to external health or education professionals as required.
